Finders' Information. "Finders" (people who return lost or missing items) are essential to our FoundID service. We give Finders multiple methods to report a lost item and options to be contacted by our members. Finders can opt to be contacted by email, text, phone, or they can remain anonymous by sending the FoundID member a detailed message. To leave a message, Finders must utilize our website to send it to the applicable FoundID member.
Found ID, Inc. will not contact Finders in any marketing capacity. For the safety and security of our FoundID members, we hold each Finder's information for 30 days and then permanently purge it.
How We Use Information. We keep confidential the personal information you provide through our website and we use it to facilitate the exchange of lost or missing items. It also may be used to notify you of special offers, updated information and new products and services from FoundID or offers, never from third parties. Agents or contractors of FoundID who are given access to your personal information are obligated to keep the information confidential and not use it for any other purpose than to carry out the services they are performing for.
Circumstances may arise where we are required to disclose your personal information to third parties for purposes other than to support your use of the FoundID services.
